viXDat Editor

A specialist editor for XDAT files. It is essential for modern Lineage 2 interface modifications: the program shows windows the way a player will see them and lets you edit the structure and XML right inside.

• Interactive previewA built-in UnrealScript virtual machine runs the client's own scripts (Interface.u / InterfaceClassic.u next to the .xdat): tabs, check boxes, edit boxes and click handlers behave as in the game.
• XML editingImport and export XML from the toolbar, drag an XML file onto the panel, or open it in an external editor with saved changes picked up automatically.
• Undo/Redo per elementChange history for each element tab, layer picking and element name labels right on the canvas.
• Script editingEdit and compile .uc sources, or edit functions inside .u packages even without the original sources.
• Live video from the clientThe real game client window streams into the editor, and the client launches from the toolbar with saved per-client arguments (elevated launch is supported).
• Screenshots and texturesClean PNG screenshots from the toolbar and the command line; texture paths come from l2.ini and the .u packages in the system folders.
• Modern clientsAutomatic detection, opening and saving of Interface.xdat and InterfaceClassic.xdat, including Iron Masters (591 EU) with field names and order verified against the client.
• Experimental live editingExperimental per-element live editing and a full XDAT reload mode are available for 563; verified in-game on the 286 and 563 clients.
